What is a sectional GRP panel tank?

A tank assembled on site from flat GRP panels, bolted together to form a single storage tank, instead of being delivered as one finished unit.

Why is a panel tank built in the room instead of delivered whole?

Because a finished tank of that size may not fit through doors, lifts or stairwells. Panels can be carried in and assembled in place, including in basements and on rooftops.

Are GRP panel tanks suitable for drinking water?

Tanks intended for drinking water should be made from food-grade materials and installed in line with local municipality requirements. Check the specification of the tank you are buying before using it for drinking water.

How often does a panel tank need maintenance?

As a general guide, inspect the tank at least once a year, clean it as needed, and check the joints, seals and fittings. Follow the guidance given for the tank installed.
